Job Position: Finance Officer - 1 Position (Based In Kathmandu)
Job profile: Under the responsibility of the Finance & Administrative Coordinator, s/he will be responsible for HI budget management, monitoring and reporting of the donor budget, maintaining financial services in order to meet HI and donor legal requirements, and support the projects and to ensure that finances are maintained in an accurate and timely manner.
Required qualifications and competencies
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Studies, Commerce or a related field with specialization in Accounts or Finance.
• At least three years of experience in the similar position mainly in budget management and preparing donor report, ideally in an INGO environment
• Basic knowledge of financial procedures and income tax acts and VAT.
• Excellent computer application skills, particularly in Excel and Word and accounting software preferably in Navision.
• Good standard of written and spoken English and Nepali.
• Good organizational skills, analytical skills, time management skills, ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
