One of the clients of Suvidha Sewa’s in Nepal requires potential and competitive candidate for its Finance dept. to handle the responsibilities of Finance Manager.
Job Title: Finance Manager
Reporting to: COO (Chief Operating Officer)
Location: Kathmandu
Salary: Negotiable
Education: MBA (Finance Specialization) /CA
Experience: Should have a minimum of 3 years of work experience in Finance/Administration
Deadline to apply: 17 September 2013
Main Duties:
· Purchase ledger – invoice entry, reconciliation of supplier statements, payments, etc
· Sales ledger – Raising invoices, credit notes, accounting for receipts
· Bank reconciliations
· Maintain fixed asset ledger
· Should possess sound knowledge in Procurement and Banking administration
· VAT returns
· Should be able to take the responsibility of HR Function
· Stock reconciliations
· Research and compliance with foreign taxation requirements
· Preparation of monthly management accounts for review by the General Manager and Executive Director for presentation to the Board
· Producing accounting reports and information for General Manager and Executive Director
· Assisting management in preparation of the annual budget and annual forecasting
· assisting in the preparation of the statutory financial accounts
· Should be able to formulate policies on Finance, Admin and HR.
· leading on the preparation/liaison with the company auditors and working with the company’s appointed accountants on the preparation of annual accounts
· Attending Finance Committee meetings
· Sharing skills with other members of the Company
Skills / Competencies / Experience:
· Qualified Graduates in Management
· Computer literate with skills in Excel and QuickBooks preferable
· Self-motivated, thorough and with an eye for detail
· This person will be expected to take the lead in investigating VAT and tax issues and liaise where necessary with external advisors
· highly organized with the ability to work to deadlines
· Able to communicate financial data in a clear and informative manner.
· Experience of working in a team and understanding the importance of effective communication for sharing information
Candidates having background from trading business will be given preference.
