Job Description:
- Under the overall supervision and guidance of the Management Committee (MC), Dy. General Manager is responsible for day-to-day operations of all activities.
- Is also responsible for management of company and organization and human resource development.
ADMINISTRATION AND FINANCE
- Oversee administration of company budget, including control and monitoring of expenditures.
- Draft contracts, and ensure that appropriate procurement and payment procedures are followed.
- Monitor and approve all budgeted expenditures and monitor cash flow projections in coordination with the Finance Officer and maintain actual cash flow and variance to the management committee on a regular basis.
- Manage all company funds according to established accounting policies and procedures and ensure that all financial records are up to date. Ensure financial reports and supporting documentations are prepared as required by company registrar and other government/legal authorities.
PRODUCTION & MARKETING
- Provide strategic input in the company’s production and marketing plan and other needs, including identification of new products and marketing opportunities, needs assessments, product design, drafting marketing/sales proposals and preparing company’s marketing tools.
- Develop new initiatives to support the marketing of the organization.
- Develop and implement long-term goals and objectives to achieve maximum benefit from the marketing of company’s products nationally and internationally.
- Follow up of the administrative process with the Government and business related organization, follow up of international shipments and cargo handling and government and other tender notices and negotiate the purchase/supply.
HUMAN RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT.
- In consultation with the MC, recruit, interview and select well-qualified staffs as and when needed by the company.
- Implement Performance Evaluation System and human resources policies, procedures and practices of the company.
- Ensure that personnel files are properly maintained and kept confidential.
Other Specific Requirements:
- Call board meetings, general assembly of the company, set agenda for the meetings and get the decisions made.
- Prepare minutes and reports as and when necessary.
- Performs other duties as assigned by the MC.
