Position Title: Medical Data Entry Clerk
No. of vacancy:1 position
Type of Contract: Daily contract, three months
Working hours/days: 8:30 am to 17:30 pm, from Friday to Tuesday
Remuneration: Equivalent to Grade 3
General functions: Under the direct supervision of the Migration Health Physician (MHP) the successful candidate will provide data entry and logistical support to the Resettlement Health Assessment Programmes. In particular, he/she will:
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Enter data recorded for Pre-Departure Medical Screening form into IOM database (MiMOSA):
• Administration of medication.
• Vital signs during Pre-Departure Medical Screening.
• Significant medical condition.
• Fitness of travel.
2. Provide logistic support for Pre-Departure Medical Screening process.
• Identify necessary information for presumptive de-worming treatment from MiMOSA database.
• Assist administration of presumptive deworming therapy.
• Support logistics and recording of vital signs and significant health condition.
3. Prepare complete PDMS form and hand over to Operation Unit in time.
4. Assist Migration Health Physician and Nurse with pre-departure medical check and follow-ups at Transit Center.
5. Support communication with Operation and TC accommodation staff.
6. Perform a wide range of administrative and logistical duties as required by the MHD team, (inventory management, preparation of Medical Escort kit, etc.).
7. Provide translations of documents and, if necessary, oral interpretation.
8. Produce report and email correspondence including forms, tables and charts providing details on the programme.
9. Draft routine correspondence to respond to enquiries in respect to relevant information of the unit.
10. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.
Required Qualifications and Competencies:
• Secondary Education is required.
• Minimum two years of working experience in administration.
• Excellent communication abilities in both spoken and written English. Ability to formulate clearly.
• Team-work oriented, Initiate, ability to work under minimal supervision.
• High level of integrity, sensitivity to cultural and social issues.
• Good knowledge of Computer skills, MS Office and MS Excel applications.
• Ability and willingness to work under pressure.
