Administrative Assistant Vacancy - Chemonics International Inc.

Chemonics International Inc., an international consulting firm based in Washington, D.C., seeks an experienced professional to serve as Administrative Assistant/Logistics for the USAID-funded Nepal Economic, Agriculture and Trade (NEAT) Activity. NEAT is designed to address a wide range of private sector development issues and work in both agricultural and non-agricultural economic sectors.

The Administrative assistant/Logistics will provide logistical support to the NEAT Kathmandu team, manage all staff travel reservations, manage hotel bookings for international consultants, verify various invoices and prepare check requests for payment processing and update trackers collect timesheets to process for payroll, manage and update stationary inventory for Kathmandu office, update the staff movement and consultant tracker, assist with procurements as needed, and provide assistance to special projects.This is a 13 month position that is expected to begin June 1, 2012.

Competitive candidates will meet most or all of the following criteria:
• University degree in relevant field
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant professional work experience
• Experience working on current or past USAID or other donor-funded projects
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to work and travel throughout Nepal
• Advanced proficiency in English
