Operations Officer - Population Services International (PSI)

Population Services International (PSI) is one of the world's leading nonprofit organizations, working with the mission of measurably improving the health of poor and vulnerable people operating in more than 60 countries. PSI/Nepal began operations in early 2002 to work in the areas of HIV/AIDS prevention, child survival and family planning in support of Government of Nepal's National Reproductive Health and HIV/AIDS Prevention Strategies. Its current portfolio includes malaria, HIV/AIDS, reproductive health, family planning and safe water projects.

PSI/Nepal is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Operations Officer.



The Operations Officer plays an important role in the implementation of the social marketing programs' activities in the field, primarily via monitoring and supervision of District Program Officers (DP0s). Under the leadership of the Country Operations Manager, the Operations Officer will provide both field and office-based backstopping support to the Sector Offices.

Qualification:
• Bachelor's degree in business administration/management, social sciences, or a related degree.
• Minimum 3 years experience in supervision of field based staff, preferably in health related projects
• Able to quickly understand and interpret data/graphs/trends
• Excellent interpersonal, coordination, supervision and monitoring skills
• Enthusiasm and a desire to make a positive impact as a team leader and team player
• Effective spoken and written communication skills in both English and Nepali
