HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal is a Swiss non-governmental organization actively contributing to the improvement of the living conditions of poor and disadvantaged. HELVETAS Swiss lntercooperation has been working in Nepal for more than 50 years. Currently, it runs more than twelve programs and projects in five working areas: Education and Skills Development, Environment and Climate, Governance and Peace, Rural Economy and Water and Infrastructure.
The Elam Project, executed by HELVETAS Swiss Intercooperation Nepal, is currently supporting micro enterprise development, income generation and employment creation in Kanchanpur, Kailali, Banke, Bardiya, Syangja, Bara, Parsa, Rautahat and Sarlahi districts. The project has been promoting natural resource-based enterprise development with a focus on the poor and disadvantaged people.The possibilities for the extension to other districts will also be explored. Elam now invites applications from Nepali citizen for the following position:
Position : Senior Enterprise Development Officer
No. of Vacancy: 1
Duty station : Programme Management Unit Office, Nepalgunj with 60% field visits
Duration : Two years with possibility of extension.
