Programme Coordinator Vacancy - The Embassy of Finland in Kathmandu

The Embassy of Finland in Kathmandu is assisting the Government of Nepal and various NGOs in their development efforts (for further details see www.finland.org.np). The Embassy is looking for a qualified professional to join the development team in the position of.

PROGRAMME COORDINATOR (Education, Social Development and Human Rights)

Qualifications: At least Master's Degree in education, social sciences, law or development studies

Experience
• At least 7 years of working experience in the field of education, social development, and/or human rights
• Experience in planning, management and monitoring of development programs
• Experience in governmental and/or international non-governmental organizations or the UN/Development Banks
• Experience in education sector and/or human rights and rule of law
• Experience in development policy issues
• Experience in analyzing the socio-political context in Nepal

Special skills
• Excellent communication skills with fluency in spoken and written English
• Analysis and drafting of reports and technical documents
• Good computer skills
