The Nepal Electricity Authority (NEA) has decreased load-shedding to 75 hours from 80 hours a week with effect from February 23, 2012 (Falgun 11, 2068). As per the new schedule, Nepalese people will have to live in darkness for 10, 11 and 12 hours for 2 days each and 9 hours for a day in a week.
